The end client provides a cloud-based enterprise content management solution trusted by organizations of all sizes, including many firms from the Am Law 100. Their platform offers a modern and highly secure approach to document and email management, reducing IT complexity by eliminating the need for local or hosted system hardware.

They are seeking a profile with expert-level knowledge in test automation tools and strategies. A deep and broad understanding of the software build and deployment process in both cloud and desktop environments is required.

Note: The individual will have direct contact with directors, so leadership and strategic skills are essential. Additionally, the person must be hands-on when necessary (maintenance, execution).

Responsibilities:

• Drive the test strategy across the entire testing organization. Recommend improvements in test processes, technology, and interfaces to enhance test team effectiveness and reduce technical debt.
• Lead quality-related tasks, training, and mentoring of team members.
• Evaluate acceptance criteria, determine the testing approach, and write and execute manual and automated tests as needed.
• Take responsibility for:
  • Test automation strategy,
  • Test data management strategy,
  • Automation of tests for assigned work.
• Maintain existing test automation frameworks for all existing automated applications.
• Write, debug, and execute code used in automated testing efforts for both APIs and UIs.
• Define, implement, and manage processes and "best practices" related to automated testing.
• Establish processes to continuously review and select manual test cases for inclusion in the automated test suite.
• Provide metrics on:
  • Business process,
  • Code coverage for automated test suites.
• Present test results to stakeholders.
