Impala Terminals Group facilitates the global trade of commodities by offering producers and consumers reliable and efficient access to international markets. The company manages two global businesses – Impala Energy Infrastructure and Impala Dry Bulk & Logistics - and is a joint venture between one of the world’s largest commodity trading houses, Trafigura, and the global fund manager, IFM Investors. ITG is a Joint-Ventures between Trafigura and IFM investment fund, owning and operating various assets such as ports, terminals and multimodal logistics assets chains in export driven emerging markets for both liquid and dry cargos. It operates as well several assets (owned by Trafigura) under a management service.

The position will be responsible for the maintenance and optimization of the Workday system that supports the HR function, applying technical expertise in the systems modules, problem solving skilss and good communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports HR processes: Payroll, Compensation Lamp; Benefits, learning Lamp; development , and compliance.
  • Provides support through data analysis, generation of reports, SLAs and metrics
  • Be the main contact for support IMPALA employees on HR IT System
  • Maintain, test and implement new functionality within Workday
  • Focus on Continuous improvement of HR Systems Lamp; Processes
  • Provide ad hoc and/or structured training to HR colleagues on HR systems
  • Provide analytical support to HR teams, Senior Management, Finance and others to create, prepare, maintain and support a variety of reports.
  • Work with HR managers Lamp; leaders on initiatives to improve HR systems services to the organization.
  • Contact with HR suppliers, providing feedback on the quality of the services and value.
  • Create and deliver documentation such as user guides, design documents, etc. related to workday.

  • University degree or advanced student in Human Resources Management, Accounting or Business Administration
  • 5 years’ experience working in an HR department, HR Systems or HR Shared Services environment
  • Extensive experience working with Workday at programming/implementation level
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.
  • Very high attention to detail and excellent numeracy skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments
  • Excellent collaboration, communication and team work
  • Strong process orientation, organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Desirable: experience in HRIS project implementation and/or in HRIS consulting
